MICHAEL SHUBECK, AIA

I grew up in Elizabeth New Jersey on the same block as a hospital. Every Spring they would start an expansion project that involved laying the foundation, erecting the steel in the summer, and enclosing the structure by the Fall. All summer I would sit on my bike and watch the work progress. This is when I fell in love with architecture and construction, and I knew then that I wanted to be an architect. Today I get to live out that dream at Petry Engineering after graduating from NJIT and becoming a licensed Architect. In my free time I enjoy vacationing in Cape May with my adult children and their growing families, attending theatrical productions, and leisurely bike rides on paths throughout the state.
